Who is LCP?

The band built-up a musical concept named cool groove, that they describe as a mix of a very adult style music, deeply imbued with soul and as a whole being sang in English and Japanese.
Lost Color People was founded in 1999, in Yamanashi prefecture. The band initially got itself known through fully instrumental music pieces, used as promotional jingles for radio channels or on idols's DVD.
The band kept on building-up their sound by adding to their experience of the scene, notably as support acts for well-known artists, be it in small concert halls or at Jazz festivals.
On the 26th of November 2003, Lost Color People released their first mini-album, Connectors, which was sold all over Japan and started a long tour of six months, the Connectors Tour that ended in May 2004 at the Kazoo Hall in Kofu. The concert lasted for nearly two and a half hours in front of a full and enthusiastic concert hall. The band deployed their entire songbook, rich with rock, soul, funk or jazz sonorities. At the end of this tour, the seven musicians started to compose a second album.
In spring 2005, Lost Color People set up their own label, ..:: LCP RECORDS ::.. under which they released their second album Fake it, on the 24th of August 2005. Lost Color People has currently signed with two bands: Essence and Glove Senses.
